Daniel Olexa coaches dead people. When I read that I had to do a double-take!
On this episode of Solopreneur Money, Dan explains what he means by that in addition to teaching us how slowing down can help us make better decisions and change the world. If you are looking for ways that you can not just improve your life but change the world, then you won’t want to miss this interview.
Are you one of the living dead that wanders through life on autopilot? So many of us are stuck in the grind of everyday life: moving from one meaningless task to the next and counting the hours until the weekend when we can finally unwind. Wouldn’t you like to come back to life to experience life beyond the day-to-day minutiae?
Dan specializes in bringing the dead back to life. He has a unique ability to create a space for his clients to allow them to revive themselves and lead a life worth living.
Dan’s clients follow his steps so that they can begin to intuitively and substantially experience life. He brings his clients beyond the soul-sucking grind of day-to-day life to pursue a life filled with freedom and purpose.
Most of us are living frenzied, ungrounded lives that are raging out of control like a feather in a tornado. We often wear our busyness like a badge of honor. But having all of those plates spinning only leads to fear and stress.
To break free from the fear and stress you need to slow down and listen. When you intentionally slow down you can ground yourself and distance yourself from the effects of the whirlwind that has become the typical American lifestyle.
Telling someone to slow down and actually doing it are two different things. Which is why I asked Dan, how? What can we do to effectively slow down in our busy lives?
One thing you can do to unbusy yourself is to schedule personal time for yourself. Rather than filling your calendar for other people, save some time to schedule dates for yourself.
During this scheduled meeting with yourself take the time to recharge. Think about how you recharge your batteries. Take a walk, read a book, do yoga, create art; whatever it is that you can do to care for yourself, do it and do it from a clear space of being.
After your date, you should have a clear head to be able to make informed decisions that are in alignment with your authentic self. You’ll be able to listen to your soul.
